Bell schedule 7 lesson. Recommendations for scheduling in the middle and senior levels of a comprehensive school

Good day to all readers of the ShkolaLa blog! So how is your school life? A little more, and there will be time to take a break, because the first holidays of this academic year are coming soon.

Everyone slowly got involved in the working rhythm, they got used to the fact that someone almost every day needs to change into a physical education uniform in the morning, someone starts the school day at school with numbers, and some wake up to music and active movements with an artistic brush. Who has something “for breakfast for the mind”, and the reason for this is the established school schedule of lessons.

We, parents, sometimes resent why children need to run cross-country tracks in the morning in order to sit at a desk sweaty in half-damp clothes in the second lesson. Why not make literature the first lesson, and leave the logic of mathematics for “after lunch”.

And really, are there any rules for scheduling lessons, who is responsible for this important process at school, and what is the most responsible official guided by when distributing the teaching load?

The correct school schedule is the key to successful study

And this is a proven fact. A well-designed school timetable is a direct relationship with school grades in the classroom journal, because it helps to maintain efficiency throughout not only the entire school day, but the entire calendar week and even the entire quarter.

Do teachers really know that in their hands is in the truest sense of the word the health of each student and his educational potential, which can be crossed out with one movement of a clerical pen?

So let's check how much our elementary schools strive to make it easy for children to learn. So, what should be considered when compiling a school timetable?

Here is a sign of the difficulty of lessons in elementary school according to SanPin:

mathematics - 8 points

Russian and foreign languages - 7

the world around and informatics - 6 points each

literature - 5

history - 4

drawing and music - 3 points each

technology - 2

physical education - 1

Well, at least every morning start with music and drawing and finish with physical education!

Some teachers use the Sivkov tablet, developed in 1975, it is wider and is intended for all eleven classes.

By the way, knowing the timetable of the child's lessons, you can build your own camel, counting the number of points for each day of study. It turns out a hump by Tuesday - Wednesday? So, the school can put an A on the schedule.

  • Thirdly, in the correct schedule, complex subjects must alternate with simpler ones. And here there is one catch: it is not recommended to put disciplines of the same type side by side, for example, if complex mathematics with a foreign one can follow each other, since they are different in content, then it is better to separate Russian from literature.
  • Fourthly, experts advise teachers to get away from the so-called "pairs", known more to students, and avoid double lessons in one discipline. From such a monotonous load, the children of elementary school, and the older one, too, get very tired. Therefore, younger students "in pairs" are forbidden to study at all.

Alas, it never works out perfectly: either there are few teachers, or there are not enough classes.

By the letter of the law

I decided to reinforce the artistic word with the letter of the law. I open the Decree of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of December 29, 2010, No. 189, which was approved by SanPin 2.4.2.2821-10. Hidden under this set of numbers are the requirements for organizing the learning process. We scroll through no less interesting chapters about school territories and buildings, premises and equipment, lighting and furniture. Here is chapter X, which is what we need. So:

  • lessons not before 8 am,
  • 1st, 5th, 9th and 11th grades - exclusively in the first shift,
  • three training shifts (and once they tried it!) is prohibited,
  • the teaching load fixed in the plate, above which it is impossible.

I would like to point out what the study load is. This is the maximum number of academic hours per week. It depends on whether you also study on Saturdays. By the way, it is forbidden for first-graders to study on weekends. So, the academic maximum in hours with a 6-day and 5-day academic week, respectively:

  • 1st class - 9 pm,
  • 2 - 4 classes - 26 or 23 hours,
  • 5th grade - 32 or 29 hours,
  • 6th grade - 33 or 30 hours,
  • 7th grade - 35 or 32 hours,
  • 8 - 9 classes - 36 or 33 hours,
  • 10 - 11 classes - 37 or 34 hours.

Load - load is different. After all, you can deliver 10 lessons a day, and then on Saturday “drive the bullshit”. But no, you can't!

If the school tries to strictly adhere to the legislative basis in its work, then no head teacher or methodologist who will paint subjects and teachers will put:

  • more than 4 lessons for first-graders, they can do physical education the fifth time a week,
  • more than 5 lessons for grades 2-4, once a 6-day school week they are allowed to sit 5 lessons, and the sixth will be the same physical education,
  • more than 6 lessons per day for grades 5-6,
  • more than 7 lessons per day for grades 7-11.

Did you immediately calculate how much it actually comes out? Fitting in? Let's go further.

This demanding SanPin establishes the very rules for the distribution of school subjects by complexity, which we have already mentioned, indicating to teachers that when drawing up the schedule, the main disciplines, such as mathematics, Russian and foreign languages, the world around us (according to SanPin - natural history), computer science, should be “diluted” with music and fine arts, technology (in SanPin it has been called “works” since Soviet times) and physical education.

By the way, after physical education, you can not put written lessons and control.

The head doctor of Russia prescribes difficult subjects for first-graders for the second lesson, for grades 2-4 - for the second and third, for the rest - for the second, third and fourth. And more importantly: control, it turns out, can be one a day, at the 2nd, 3rd or 4th lesson.

This is really interesting - in practice this is hardly possible. If in the lower grades the teacher himself distributes the order of testing, then how will they agree in high school, for example, a biology teacher and an algebra teacher, well, or any other?

But teachers are protected here: this is not a direct prohibition of the law, but a recommendation, so if a child first wrote a test in mathematics, and then also wrapped himself in Russian, then hardly anyone will heed your indignation.

In general, I came to the conclusion that drawing up a school schedule is actually a titanic work, although interesting at first glance. And this headache is usually assigned to one of the deputy directors of the school in accordance with the job description. Therefore, I propose not to be too prejudiced towards our teachers and still let out small errors from under our gaze.

Friends, I invite you to subscribe to blog news and join to our VKontakte group to always be aware of school events.

All the best!

The educational mode of the school should correspond to the functional capabilities of the students. The volume, content and organization of the educational process should ensure such a state of the body in which fatigue would completely disappear during the rest period.

The main criteria for evaluating lessons in terms of the functional capabilities of students are difficulty and tediousness. Tiredness is characterized by a change in working capacity, and the difficulty of the subject is characterized by the level of academic performance, that is, the degree of assimilation of educational material. Therefore, when scheduling, both factors must be taken into account equally.

When scheduling lessons, the following factors should be considered:

  • performance (characteristics of labor, i.e., the quality and quantity of acquired knowledge or actions at a certain time) depends on the age of a person, his individual biorhythm, time of day, day of the week, season, etc .;
  • the degree of fatigue depends on social, psychological, biological causes.

To reduce the fatigue of students and teachers during one day, it is necessary to correctly distribute lessons in productive and unproductive hours and days.

Subjects that require a lot of time for home preparation should not be grouped on the same day of the school schedule. During the most unproductive hours (from 11.30 to 14.30), lessons should be built from the standpoint of health saving, which implies a valeological approach to organizing a lesson, choosing forms, methods, lesson techniques, changing the types of activities of students and types of teacher teaching (every 5–7 minutes).

When scheduling, you can use the scales of difficulty of educational subjects developed by I.G. Sivkov (for elementary school) and employees of the Research Institute of Hygiene and Health Protection of Children and Adolescents M.I. Stepanova, I.E. Alexandrova, A.S. Sedova (for students in grades 5–9)
Using the data in the tables above, it is possible to assess whether the lesson schedule of any class is correctly drawn up.

The schedule is correct if:

  • the school has a single timetable for classes in the first and second half of the day (for students and teachers);
  • the highest number of points per day in the sum of all subjects is for grades 8-11 - on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; for grades 1-7 - on Tuesday and Thursday (Wednesday is a somewhat easier day);
  • during the school day, lessons “difficult” and “easy” alternate;
  • the lessons of one subject alternate with the lessons of another subject, and are not doubled (the exception is modular learning technology);
  • the main subjects for younger students are held in 2-3 lessons, and for middle and older children - in 2-4 lessons;
  • the names of the subjects in the timetable and curriculum are the same.

The schedule is incorrect if:

  • the highest number of points per day falls on the last days of the week or when it is the same on all days of the week;
  • "difficult" lessons are doubled;
  • “difficult” lessons are in the schedule in a row;
  • “difficult” lessons in the schedule at the first or last lesson;
  • the number of home preparations is equal to the number of lessons.

For optimal load distribution, the following are not allowed:

  • zero lessons;
  • breaks lasting 5 minutes;
  • double lessons in grades 1-5, exceeding 8 points on the scale of difficulty, if the lesson planning does not provide for a second hour of practical or laboratory work;
  • grouping in one day items that require a lot of home preparation;
  • discrepancy in the schedule of the first and second half of the day;
  • discrepancy between the names of subjects in the schedule grid and the school curriculum.

Thus, when scheduling classes, it is necessary to take into account:

  • distribution of the study load by day of the week;
  • distribution of the study load during each day separately;
  • alternation of subjects of different types of activity;
  • observance of hygienic requirements for the lesson schedule.

To do this, the schedule is analyzed and, based on the results, an analytical report is compiled.

  1. The total load at the beginning and end of the week should be the smallest (according to the rank scale of difficulty).
  2. Examinations should be carried out at 2-4 lessons in the middle of the school week.
  3. The main teaching load during the day in the senior and middle grades should fall on the 2nd-4th lessons.
  4. On Monday and Friday it is not recommended to schedule two-hour lessons.
  5. In elementary school, it is unacceptable to conduct double lessons in the same subject. In this case, the degree of fatigue of children increases by 7 times.
  6. In the 5th grade, double lessons in one subject are allowed only in exceptional cases and on condition that they alternate with easier lessons (or a lesson).
  7. In the middle and senior grades, double lessons against the background of the modular technology of building the educational process, on the contrary, contribute to the preservation of the health of students.
  8. Lessons that require a lot of mental stress (mathematics, Russian, physics, chemistry) are recommended to be taught first or second. Lessons on art, the world around, artistic work should be held after a dynamic pause (the third lesson), and lessons with a predominance of the motor component (rhythm, physical culture) should be the last.
  9. Classes in the second half of the day should be held no earlier than 45 minutes after the end of the last lesson in the first half of the day.
  10. When arranging lessons during one school day, one should take into account the predominant activities of students in this lesson (reading, looking at, writing, active motor activity, practical work, listening, speaking, etc.) and try to alternate them.
  11. Every day, the number of home preparations should be less than the number of lessons in the schedule.
  12. Zero lessons are not allowed!
  13. Subjects that require a lot of time for homework (history, algebra) should not be grouped on the same day of the school schedule.
  14. It should be remembered that when scheduling lessons, you need to take into account the number of hours allotted by the basic curriculum for the implementation

You need to know in advance timetable in first class. This will help to plan the time of the whole family correctly: parents to take a vacation, if possible, make adjustments to the work schedule, agree on the help of a grandmother, nanny or parents of classmates. So, to what first grade curriculum prepare?

According to SanPiN 2.4.2.2821-10, training in the first grade is carried out in compliance with the following additional requirements:

1. Classes in the first grade are held on a 5-day school week and only in the first shift.

2. In teaching first-graders, a “stepped” mode is used, which involves the following schedule:
- in the first quarter (in September, October) children study 3 lessons a day for 35 minutes each,
- in the second quarter (November-December) - 4 lessons of 35 minutes each,
- and in the 3rd and 4th quarters (January - May) - 4 lessons of 45 minutes each.

3. It is recommended to include a dynamic pause of at least 40 minutes in the schedule of first grade lessons in the middle of the school day.

4. First class timetable should include no more than 4 lessons per day and 1 day per week - no more than 5 lessons, at the expense of a physical education lesson.

5. In the first class, an additional weekly vacation is provided in the middle of the third quarter.

Given these requirements, the lesson schedule in the first grade may look like this:

First class bell schedule (example)

First class bell schedule (first semester)

1. 8.00 – 8.35

break 20 minutes (visiting the canteen)

9.30 - 10.10 dynamic pause

3. 10.10 - 10.45

change 10 minutes

4. 10.55 - 11.30

change 10 minutes

5. 11.40 - 12.15

First class bell schedule (second semester)

1. 8.00 - 8.45

change 20 minutes
2. 9.05 – 9.50

change 10 minutes

3. 10.30 – 11.15

change 10 minutes
4. 11.25– 12.10

change 10 minutes
5. 12.20 – 13.05

SanPin also recommends when compiling class timetables for first grade alternate subjects of various complexity during the day and week: the main subjects (mathematics, Russian and foreign languages, natural history, computer science) alternate with music, fine arts, labor, physical education lessons. Moreover, the most difficult subjects should be carried out in lesson 2.

Requirements for the organization of the educational process in the first grade:

1. Training is conducted without scoring the knowledge of students and homework.
As a rule, most primary school teachers are of the opinion that homework in reasonable quantities is not only harmless for students, but even necessary in order to gradually get used to the school load and successfully master school material. Therefore, be prepared for the fact that homework in the first grade will still have to be done.

2. Double lessons are not held in the primary grades.

3. For those attending an extended day group, it is necessary to organize daytime sleep (at least 1 hour), 3 meals a day and walks.

Unfortunately, far from all schools comply with this clause due to the busy schedule of the school and the lack of space for organizing sleep. In this regard, the responsibility for organizing the rest of the first grader falls on the parents. We recommend that you make sure that your first-grader has a good rest and do not chase results - they will surely please you if your child fully adapts in the first grade!
